Cho\u0107 sytuacja wyra\u017anie si\u0119 zmieni\u0142a i portugalskie winiarstwo ma do zaoferowania znacznie wi\u0119cej ni\u017c ten wzmacniany trunek, to nadal porto jako pierwsze ci\u015bnie si\u0119 na usta, gdy my\u015blimy o winach z tego kraju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My\u015bl\u0105c o porto, wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 z nas potrafi okre\u015bli\u0107, lepiej lub gorzej, charakter tego wina. Jednak porto drugiemu porto nier\u00f3wne. Ponadto, sporo os\u00f3b tak naprawd\u0119 nigdy nie pr\u00f3bowa\u0142a jako\u015bciowego  porto, a swoje do\u015bwiadczenie z tym winem opiera jedynie na marnych, supermarketowych etykietach.  Nie t\u0119dy droga &#8211; porto to wino niezwykle z\u0142o\u017cone i wyst\u0119puj\u0105ce w przynajmniej kilku stylach. Ka\u017cdy z nich inny, ka\u017cdy na sw\u00f3j spos\u00f3b wyj\u0105tkowy, wi\u0119c na pewno znajdziecie co\u015b dla siebie. Na porto trzeba spojrze\u0107 \u015bwiadomie, a dopiero wtedy w pe\u0142ni je docenimy i zrozumiemy. S\u0142ynne domy ( firmy ) porto by\u0142y zak\u0142adane przez ludzi o takich nazwiskach jak cho\u0107by <strong>Sandeman, Graham, Croft, Cockburn, Dow<\/strong> czy <strong>Warre<\/strong>, kt\u00f3re do dzi\u015b niezmiennie firmuj\u0105 te wina.  Brytyjczycy byli nie tylko za\u0142o\u017cycielami wielu s\u0142ynnych marek porto, ale te\u017c wielkimi or\u0119downikami i wielbicielami tego wina.  Wszystko podobno zacz\u0119\u0142o si\u0119 w XVII wieku podczas wojny angielsko-francuskiej, kiedy to wprowadzono embargo na wina z Francji. Angielscy kupcy zacz\u0119li szuka\u0107 innych win ( mi. in. w Portugalii ), kt\u00f3re mo\u017cna by sprzedawa\u0107 na brytyjskim rynku.  Tak natrafili na pe\u0142ne, bogate trunki z Douro, a pocz\u0119stowani jednym z nich przez opata klasztoru stwierdzili, \u017ce wino jest naprawd\u0119 interesuj\u0105ce. Zakonnik zwierzy\u0142 si\u0119, \u017ce doda\u0142 do wina brandy podczas fermentacji. I tak ( jak g\u0142osz\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142a ) wszystko si\u0119 zacz\u0119\u0142o. Od ko\u0144ca XVII stulecia porto by\u0142o regularnie wzmacniane alkoholem, aby zabezpieczy\u0107 je dodatkowo przed zepsuciem w czasie transportu. Cho\u0107 to ju\u017c staro\u017cytni Rzymianie doceniali soczyste czerwone wina ze stromych zboczy rzeki Douro, min\u0119\u0142y wieki, a\u017c to w\u0142a\u015bnie Brytyjczycy odkryli dla \u015bwiata porto i to oni w du\u017cej mierze nadali mu kszta\u0142t, jaki znamy obecnie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Porto pochodzi z jedynego, wyj\u0105tkowego miejsca na \u015bwiecie &#8211; z <strong>doliny Douro<\/strong> wpisanej na list\u0119 \u015bwiatowego dziedzictwa UNESCO. By\u0142 to pierwszy na \u015bwiecie ( cho\u0107 niekt\u00f3re \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142a podaj\u0105 inaczej ) wyznaczony region winiarski o okre\u015blonych granicach, klasyfikacji winnic, sposobie produkcji wina. Dolina Douro to miejsce niepowtarzalne z uwagi na swoje majestatyczne pi\u0119kno, o czym mog\u0142em przekona\u0107 si\u0119 na w\u0142asne oczy ( zobacz np.<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winozesmakiem.net.pl\/?p=520#more-520\"><strong>tutaj<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;). Zmiana prawa sprawi\u0142a, \u017ce rynku pojawi\u0142o si\u0119 wielu ma\u0142ych producent\u00f3w robi\u0105cych w\u0142asne porto, kt\u00f3rzy jak dot\u0105d, sprzedawali wino wi\u0119kszym hurtownikom i dostawcom. Obecnie, porto mo\u017ce by\u0107 starzone, butelkowane i dostarczane na rynek prosto z <strong>quint<\/strong> ( posiad\u0142o\u015bci ) w dolinie Douro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dla przypomnienia, Douro dzieli si\u0119 na trzy podregiony. S\u0105 one poddane klasyfikacji i otrzymuj\u0105 punkty w zale\u017cno\u015bci od  ich lokalizacji, wysoko\u015bci, k\u0105ta nachylenia zbocza, rodzaju gleby, ekspozycji na s\u0142o\u0144ce, wieku i odmiany winoro\u015bli, g\u0119sto\u015bci nasadze\u0144 itp.   Za te wszystkie czynniki przyznaje si\u0119 winnicom punkty, a ich suma ma wp\u0142yw na to, w kt\u00f3rej klasie winnica si\u0119 znajdzie. Klas jest dziewi\u0119\u0107, od A do I.
